"The Skull Mask"
New Orleans, 2008. It is late October and the cold is starting to bite through the melting temperatures of summer. The leaves are turning old and brown and fall as you wrap yourself tighter in preparation of the cold to come. You enter a room, and the woman, a specter of death, is half-lying seductively, mostly naked, a hard light illuminating what is usually in shadow. Bones are strewn about, and she is looking at you.
